What data we process, and why

Purchase data (name, address, email, phone) when you place an order: to manage the sale and shipping, through Shopify.

Name and phone number when you sign up to the WhatsApp channel: to send you Drop alerts and winery news.

Name, phone and message when you write through The Exchange form: to handle your bulk-purchase enquiry.

Browsing data through analytics and marketing cookies, only if you accept the cookie banner.

Legal basis

Online sales are based on the performance of the sales contract. Channel sign-up and The Exchange form are based on your express consent when you submit them. Marketing cookies are also based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Who we share your data with

Shopify Inc., as our checkout and payment platform.

Meta (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.), only if you accept marketing cookies, to measure how our campaigns perform.

Our CRM/WhatsApp provider (GoHighLevel), to manage the channel and commercial communications.

MRW, as our carrier, to deliver your order.

We do not sell your data to third parties.

How long we keep it

Purchase data is kept for as long as the business relationship lasts and, afterwards, for the period required by tax and commercial regulations. Channel sign-up and Exchange data is kept until you ask us to remove it.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, portability and restriction of processing by writing to info@ottobestue.com.

You also have the right to file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) if you believe the processing doesn't comply with the regulations.
